Dispute Resolution - Alberta The Insurance Consumer Complaint Process is designed to help you resolve your dispute with your insurer. If you want to complain about unfair treatment by your broker, adjuster or insurer, you can contact the Alberta Insurance Council and/or the Alberta Superintendent of Financial Institutions. Alberta Treasury Board and Finance is responsible for overseeing the Insurance Consumer Complaint Process.
