New External User Roles for Early Warning System (EWS)

  1. EWS - Company Issue Contact (one per reporting company)
External insurer contact responsible for handling data issues identified through the Early Warning System.
  2. EWS – Additional Company Issue User (maximum five per reporting company)
External insurer additional user is an optional role for companies with access similar to the Company Issue Contact. The only difference between the two roles is that Additional Company Issue User does not receive direct communication or notification status reports from EWS. The role will have access to review and update the issues raised by the Early Warning System.
  3. EWS - Company Issue Manager (one per reporting company)
External insurer manager responsible for handling data issues that have not been receiving adequate response based on the predefined time thresholds and have been escalated through the Early Warning System.
  4. EWS - Company Issue Director (one per reporting company)
External insurer director responsible for handling data issues that have not been receiving adequate response based on the predefined time thresholds and have been escalated through the Early Warning System.

IBC is introducing these new roles for companies in order to support the use of the EWS. Please complete the user ID set-up form on this site to let IBC know who will fill these roles for your company.
