Chris White

Vice-President, Federal Affairs

Chris White has more than 20 year of experience in public and government relations, and in strategic communications planning in both the public and private sectors. In his role as IBC’s Vice-President, Federal Affairs he directs the P&C insurance industry’s strategic and government relations efforts in Ottawa and oversees the daily operations of IBC’s office in Ottawa.

Prior to joining IBC, he worked as Chief of Staff for five federal Cabinet Ministers. His executive positions in the private sector included Vice President, Government Relations and Public Affairs and Vice President, Government Relations in the auto and finance industries.

Mr. White holds a masters degree in political science from the University of Windsor, and an undergraduate degree in political science and graduate diploma in international development from the University of Ottawa. He is active with Special Olympics.
