
Randy BundusVice-President, Operations and General CounselRandy Bundus joined the Legal Division of Insurance Bureau of Canada in 1987, and has been its Vice-President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since 1999. From September 2008 through April 2009, in addition to his role as a Vice-President, Mr. Bundus served as IBC's Acting President. Prior to joining IBC, Mr. Bundus was a litigation lawyer with Saskatchewan Government Insurance in Regina. He is Vice-President, Secretary and Counsel for the Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation (the insurance industry body that protects insureds if their insurer becomes insolvent), and Board Secretary for Facility Association (the body designed to provide insurance to high-risk drivers). He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the ADR Institute of Canada and a member of the Ontario Bar Association Insurance Law Section Executive. Mr. Bundus graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1979 with a B.Comm and obtained his law degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1982. He was called to the bar of Saskatchewan in 1983 and is still a member. Mr. Bundus is a member of the Canadian Bar Association; the International Association of Defense Counsel; and the Canadian Defense Lawyers Association. |
