GISA Exhibit eLibrary

The General Insurance Statistical Agency (GISA) has authorized its statistical service provider, Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC), to launch the Automobile Industry Exhibit Section of the newly developed eLibrary on November 15th, 2010.

Registered users will have access to an online repository of published industry Automobile Statistical Plan (ASP) exhibits and supporting data files. The eLibrary, which is searchable, contains historical industry exhibits covering the period from 1994 to 2009. Registered users can select and download the PDF exhibits and ASCII data files. Currently, the eLibrary contains over 1,800 industry exhibits and data files. In the future, new industry ASP exhibits and files will be published in the eLibrary immediately upon approval from GISA.

Next year, the eLibrary will also provide access to 2010 individual company ASP exhibits and data files. Prior to the release of this section of the eLibrary, you will receive specific instructions on how to request and download individual company information.
