​Overview

IBC is currently looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our applications support team. He/she will need to acquire general understanding of the various system components to effectively troubleshoot production malfunctions, isolate problematic areas, and coordinate resolution with various internal teams. This includes testing, analyzing, maintaining and documenting packaged application components, and defining and executing implementation plan details. This role may apply in Development environment as well as Core Support environment, depending on assignment.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, designs (including options), estimates and makes recommendations, using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
  • Provide support for backend applications and jobs. Investigate and resolve job failures using documented strategies or by working with development team
  • Provide end-user support for MS suite of products like GP, CRM and MS SharePoint as well as custom .NET applications
  • Managing and supporting SharePoint's application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services
  • Managing custom SharePoint application components like Master Pages, Web parts, workflow, Page Layouts.
  • Manage the upgrade, maintenance and administration of MS SharePoint  applications
  • Provide Production Support for SQL Server databases, Production jobs, MS SharePoint and .NET applications – triage and troubleshoot application related issues
  • Perform installs, updates, customizations and integration for MS SharePoint and MS SQL Server
  • Installation, upgrade, configuration, migration of MS SQL Server instances
  • Provide production support for SQL instances, capacity planning and respond to monitoring alerts
  • Availability to provide after-hours support for high severity issues
  • Collaborates with user groups to further develop information systems (IS) solutions with a proactive approach
  • Develops, when required, Web applications utilizing technology compliant with IBC Development standards
  • Participating in Disaster Recovery Activities
  • Resolving database and application related service request tickets and change requests
  • Deliver and maintain user manuals and training as well as operational documentation
  • Coordinate move to production environment.

Qualifications​

Education, Training & Experience

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum of 2  years of experience in MS SharePoint applications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting web applications using current technology, e.g., .NET framework (ASP.NET, C#), HTML, XML, Java Script, AJAX
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience with MS CRM and MS GP considered an added plus.
