This role in the President’s Office and the department of Member Engagement is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the President’s Office. You will help develop membership pitches, manage IBC’s committee portal, and support the core functions of member engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supports Member Engagement in the delivery of services to IBC’s members, helping the team meet strategic goals, primarily:

  • Responding to inquiries to IBC’s member services email inbox
  • Managing IBC’s member information collection, including CRM contacts and distribution lists by liaising with various IBC departments
  • Together with VP, President’s Office, evaluating effectiveness, from a Member Engagement perspective, of current CRM
  • Managing elements of IBC’s Member website (in SharePoint), including uploading relevant committee documents
  • Managing industry subscriber approvals and invoices
  • Working with the VP, President’s Office and Membership Lead, Member Engagement to execute on 2021 Member Outreach and Engagement Strategies
  • Assist Membership Lead in gathering and maintaining member and non-member intelligence – conducting research and analysis regarding IBC members, non-members and potential members, including mergers and acquisitions, key executive changes, and members in the news
  • Generating ideas related to enhancing member experience throughout the lifecycle of the member, for continual service improvement 
  • Supporting IBC’s Library by providing information services and managing digital assets in collaboration with the Manager, Library services 

Qualifications: 

  • University degree
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • MS CRM or equivalent
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and all levels of management
  • Bilingual French/English is a strong asset
