Phase 1 included an error correction facility and a submission management application for automobile data. Across Canada, insurers submit data using the updated ASP. Using the Phase 2 delivery of the IT Renewal Program, in particular the Early Warning System (EWS), IBC reviews all submitted and accepted automobile and commercial liability data. This process leverages anomaly rules derived from pre-existing automobile profiles that, before the implementation of Phase 2, IBC reviewed manually. Training, User Guides and More SupportInsurers are automatically apprised of any data anomalies and work with their assigned IBC analysts to resolve anomalies.
