• What is the InSight Summit?

  InSight Summit is Insurance Bureau of Canada’s flagship conference – bringing together the industry’s best and brightest to share insights, knowledge and drive innovation.

  The InSight Summit is the premier forum for P&C professionals across all sectors of the industry to explore how emerging technologies, innovations, regulatory changes, and new opportunities are shaping the future of P&C insurance.

• Will there be networking opportunities at the summit?

  Yes. The InSight Summit includes dedicated networking sessions, reception, lunch and provides additional opportunities throughout the day to connect with industry peers.

• Can I attend multiple session tracks?

  Yes! All three tracks will have sessions and panels occurring simultaneously, but you can select your preferred session during each content block. For example, during content session 1, you can select the Financial Track and then in content session 2, you can select the Commercial Insurance track and then in session 3, you can select the Regulatory Track.

  You can make these selections during the event – no need to register for sessions in advance.

  Additionally, recordings of all individual track sessions will be available upon request after the summit, allowing attendees to access and revisit content from across the conference. Please note that plenary sessions will not be recorded. For more information, please email insightsummit@ibc.ca.

• Will meals, snacks and refreshments be included during the day?

  Absolutely. The summit offers more than just industry-leading panels and expert insights — it’s also a thoughtfully curated culinary experience. Attendees will enjoy a full day of exceptional hospitality, with thoughtfully prepared breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and snacks — all leading up to the summit’s highly acclaimed cocktail reception, featuring curated appetizers and outstanding opportunities for networking with industry leaders.

  Every detail is designed to keep guests energized, engaged, and well cared for throughout the event.

• How can I get to the event? Will there be parking?

  The Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC), South Building is conveniently located in downtown Toronto and offers a variety of transportation options. Whether you're driving, taking public transit, or arriving from out of town, the MTCC provides all the necessary information on its website to help you plan your trip. • Can my organization purchase a table?

  This year, the InSight Summit will feature theater-style and mixed seating throughout the sessions, so traditional table purchases will not be available. However, organizations are still encouraged to register in groups — parties of eight or more are eligible for a group ticket discount.

• Is there assigned seating?

  Seating within each content session is on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be plenty of theatre-style and mixed seating available within each conference room.

• What is the dress code?

  There is no prescriptive dress code – however, we recommend professional, business attire.

• I’d love to attend but I am unavailable on March 25, 2027. Is there a way to purchase a recording of the Summit?

  Access to InSight Summit recordings is exclusive to ticketholders. This policy ensures that the value and benefits of attending the summit are preserved for those who have purchased a ticket. Ticket purchases not only support the conference but also grant attendees access to a wealth of knowledge and resources that are not publicly available. By limiting access to recordings, we maintain the integrity and exclusivity of the content, ensuring that it remains a valuable resource for our attendees.

• Does this event qualify for the Law Society of Ontario's continuing professional development (CPD) requirement?

  Participants who attend sessions in the Regulatory Track are eligible to claim hours toward the Law Society of Ontario’s continuing professional development (CPD) requirement. 
  
  Total hours are determined by the number of sessions attended, up to a maximum of 2 hours and 50 minutes.

• Can my organization sponsor the InSight Summit?
